Thayer is unique because they have amazing academics, arts, and athletics. The extracurriculars at Thayer are very special to me because there are so many opportunities for students to express themselves and explore new talents.

I’m an undecided major, but I’m interested in subjects such as biology and psychology.

My most challenging class was AP Biology because the textbook had so much information that it was hard to learn it all.

Before I came to Thayer, I played the violin after school almost every day.

Thayer has prepared me for success because I’ve had to be very organized with my time to get everything done. In college, I’ll know how to be disciplined with my homework but also have enough time to have fun with my friends. 

I could watch Disney’s Hercules over and over again. The music and the storyline are both immaculate.

Mr. Keough has helped me so much through the years in the math classroom and beyond. At the beginning of my junior year in PreCalculus Advanced, I did not do well on a test, but he reached out to me, and from then on, he has always left his office open for me if I needed extra math help or someone to talk to.

My mom inspires me because she has such a passion for going outside of her comfort zone and exploring new aspects of life.  

My favorite memory from my time at Thayer would be my junior year when the varsity field hockey team made it to the semifinals for the first time in 10 years. I made a lot of new friends on that team and we all pushed each other to be better athletes as well as people.

My walk-up song would definitely be “Hey Baby” by Pitbull.

My friends have supported me in reaching my goals by offering helpful advice when I’m stressed and by giving me so many hugs.
