Thayer possesses a seemingly endless breadth of opportunities for its students to discover and expand upon, helping to chart a path for their future endeavors.

I will attend Hamilton College, where I’ll study Biochemistry and Spanish. I’ll also play soccer and tennis.

Mr. Sabine, my seventh grade history teacher, was one of the most impactful people in my life. He challenged my thinking and taught me to stay on my toes, a lesson that will remain with me forever.

Thayer has given me the opportunity to discover what interests me while experimenting with things that I never would have thought of trying. 

Even though this past year was a difficult year to stay focused (because of the pandemic), Mr. Cedrone, my math teacher, held late-night Zoom review sessions from his basement for my class to prepare for tests. 

Mr. Robey guided me through all the uncertainties of the college application process, whether it was contacting other college counselors on my behalf or even just offering his opinion on which school was best for me. 

The stuffed shells at Cahall are to die for. There are days when I’ll have close to a dozen without thinking twice.

Taking advantage of my senior year was of utmost importance to me, and I did my best to seize each day and make the most of my last year at Thayer. 

Towards the end of 8th grade, we went whitewater rafting in Western Massachusetts. Although it was cold, the thrill of shooting down the river while splashing each other overcame the chill of the water.

The diversity of interest within and among the grades allows theater students, athletes, and scholars to all have a home at Thayer where they can thrive.
