Chaperones: Sarah Miller

The trip is open to students in grades 9 through 11.

This is an opportunity for students to have a culturally enriching and educational experience on the beautiful country of Costa Rica. Students will become immersed in small, close-knit community settings. Our time with local service work will be with Coopepilangosta (green ecological coffee processing plant), Edunamica Nosara, the Ostional National Wildlife Refuge, and Nosara Crece. Excursions include surfing lessons and a zipline tour in Rio Blanco Canyon.

The cost of the trip is $4,500. Thayer Academy has limited funds available for financial assistance. Students interested in applying for financial assistance should respond to the financial aid questions in the parent/guardian section below.
