Thayer's Homecoming Cornhole Tournament

Saturday, October 15, 2022

Homecoming is an annual tradition that celebrates the entire Thayer community. What better way to do that than over a friendly game of cornhole? The goal of the tournament is to generate school spirit and camaraderie.

Teams may consist of Middle or Upper School students, parents/guardians, siblings, alumni, faculty, staff, grandparents, or a combination of any of these or other options!

Single-Elimination Brackets

Winners will receive a pair of Boston Bruins tickets and a set of custom ‘Cornhole Champs’ cups

The tournament is open for registration (32-team cap). Two players equal one team. This is a blind draw, single-elimination tournament. (Teams will be eliminated following one loss.) Click here for the official rules.

Funds generated from the tournament will benefit the Thayer Academy Parent Association (TAPA). TAPA supports student, faculty, and community initiatives.

Teams need to arrive at the Hospitality Pavilion on the main fields for tournament check-in between 12:00 and 12:15 p.m. on the morning of Saturday, Oct. 15, for a 12:30 p.m. tournament start.
