Virtual “Ask Joani” Session
with Joani Geltman, MSW
Wednesday, April 8, 2020
9 - 10:30 a.m.
Open to ALL current Thayer parents and guardians
Please note: This "Ask Joani" session will replace the on-campus session originally scheduled for the morning of April 22.
Join Joani Geltman, MSW, for an informative session on the current issues parents and guardians are facing during this unprecedented time. Joani will provide strategies for dealing with the stress of too much or too little school work, the resistance to having to practice physical distancing, and "too" much family togetherness - how to be close yet allow your children the independence they crave. Joani has a master's degree in Social Work as well as over 30 years of experience working with parents, children, schools, and community groups. She will bring her unique brand of "infotainment," using humor and storytelling along with her years of experience dealing with families during the most stressful stages.
TAPA is sponsoring this "Ask Joani" session to help parents and guardians navigate this challenging time. Attendees will have the chance to pose their own questions during the conversation. You may also submit questions in advance with your RSVP.
Please RSVP to Chrissy Dahlheimer if you would like to participate. This session will be held via Zoom, and the link will be shared with those who register for the event in advance. We will not be able to register guests after 8 a.m. on Wednesday.
If you have any questions, please contact Chrissy Dahlheimer at firstname.lastname@example.org or (781) 664-2517.
