Voice magazine earns NESPA honors

The New England Scholastic Press Association (NESPA) recently awarded Voice first place honors in the category of Scholastic Editing and Publishing.

The award is for the student magazine's editions from last year; typically presented in the spring, honors were delayed at the time because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, six individual students earned Special Achievement recognition for their work: Erika Plante '20 (artwork); John Carbone '21 (fiction); Austin Bennett '20 (fiction); Ally Deegan '20 (nonfiction); Elena Gosalvez '20 (nonfiction); and Jovanna Walker '21 (poetry).

Diane Haigh, Director of Audio-Visual & Graphic Design Support, and US English Faculty Bobby Kiley '04 serve as faculty advisors for the publication.
