To get to know our new faculty and staff a little better, we asked them to answer a few questions in the Proust Questionnaire--the famous questionnaire that Vanity Fair asks celebrities to answer on its back page. Today we introduce Mr. Emmett Knox '04, who recently started as the new Middle School math teacher. Emmett earned his Bachelor's at Dartmouth College.
What is your idea of perfect happiness? Summiting a mountain with good friends only to find that Radiohead is there to put on an impromptu concert.
What is your greatest fear? I'm stranded, treading water in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and the wreckage of the Titanic is leagues below...I think it's called Thallasophobia.
If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be? I'd be Voyager 1, the NASA space probe sent to explore the universe.
What is your most treasured possession? My 1976 Fender P Bass.
What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery? The bottom of a bag of chips.
What is your greatest regret? Never challenging Kevin Cedrone to a game of one on one.
