To get to know our new faculty and staff a little better, we asked them to answer a handful of questions from the Proust Questionnaire — the famous questionnaire that Vanity Fair asks celebrities to answer on its back page. Here, we learn a little bit more about Grade 5 Faculty Katie Currie, who earned her bachelor's degree in Sociology from St. Anselm College and her master's degree in Education from Southern New Hampshire University.
Q: What is your idea of perfect happiness?
A: My perfect idea of happiness? Being surrounded by my family.
Q: Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
Q: Which talent would you most like to have?
A: I would love to learn how to play the piano. I was in the band in high school, but I always admire people who are able to play the piano!
Q: What do you consider your greatest achievement?
A: Becoming a mother.
Q: What is your favorite occupation?
A: A TEACHER!
Q: Who are your heroes in real life?
A. My Mom and my Dad. They have done an amazing job raising me and my sisters and providing us with opportunities that challenged us and encouraged us to grow.
Q: What are your favorite names?
A: My favorite names are "Grace" and "Tendy." Grace is my daughter's name, and Tendy is my dog's name.
