Thayer’s junior class spearheads local food drive

This year’s Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit Quincy Community Action Programs Head Start was a success thanks to the efforts of the Thayer community.

Thanks to both in-kind contributions and cash contributions, the Class of 2023 was able to provide 100 bags — with each bag containing enough food to feed four people — to families in need and more than $1,000 in Shaw’s gift cards so that families can buy a source of protein to complete their meals.

The junior class and their advisors thank everyone for their holiday generosity.
