National Signing Day: Six Thayer Student-Athletes Commit to Colleges

Six Thayer seniors celebrated National Signing Day on Wednesday, Nov. 12 by signing their college agreements in a Memorial Gym filled with family, friends, teammates, faculty, and staff eager to share in the celebration.

Athletic Director Bobbi Moran welcomed those gathered before placing her attention and her praise on the six student-athletes before her.

“You’ve done all the little things that matter,” Moran told them as she congratulated them for working their way to the next level of their respective sports. She urged them to each take a moment to appreciate their accomplishments after years of hard work and dedication.

“We’re so honored to celebrate with you,” Moran added.

The ceremony saw student-athletes photographed as they signed their agreements accompanied by the appropriate swag from the various colleges. After that, several more photographs were taken with, among others, proud family members, coaches, teammates, and friends.
