Global Speaker Series: An Evening With Charlie Castleman ’57 on March 30

Thayer’s Global Speaker Series continues with An Evening With Charlie Castleman ’57 on Monday, March 30, at 6:30 p.m. in the CFA’s Hale Theater. 

Castleman is a world-renowned violinist and former professor at the Eastman School of Music; he is currently a faculty member at the Frost School of Music, University of Miami. 

Castleman will perform both as a soloist and alongside the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra, which is conducted by its music director, Jin Kim P ’27, a current Scholar in Residence at Thayer. The Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel has honored Castleman’s career by producing a documentary, which will be shown that night; there will also be a Q&A session.
