Summer Program

This program is for children between the ages of 8 and 16 who are rising 3rd through 11th graders. The program is held at Thayer Academy in Braintree, MA. Thayer Academy is an independent day school, founded in 1877, for grades 5-12. Students will work and play in Thayer’s beautiful facilities and classrooms on the school’s 30-acre campus. 

The Project RISE Summer Program provides enrolled students with seven weeks of:

  • Daily roundtrip bus transportation between the Boston area and Braintree.
  • Daily Continental breakfast and hot lunch (Friday lunches on trips are provided by parents).
  • Academically challenging and reinforcing course work.
  • Cultural enrichment through guest speakers, class instruction, projects, and activities 
  • Six off-campus field trips on Fridays.
  • Daily social and extracurricular activities.

Project RISE is a dynamic program, where students work to their potential in a safe environment. Professional educators in all areas encourage and inspire students to grow in all academic areas. The motivational support from teacher/role models and outside speakers help students become the people they can be.
