This year, all registrations are to be done online - and spaces (particularly for specialty and limited enrollment camps) are given on a first-come, first-served basis in the order they are received. Medical forms are also filled out online (with immunization records needing to be sent by your child's physician). There is a $200 deposit/camper which is paid online with a credit card. This deposit will be applied to your Camp balance. You will receive an email confirmation upon completion of your online registration.

Once your registration has been processed, any reduction or cancellation of enrollment will cause the deposit to be forfeited. After June 7, 2019, no part of the tuition will be canceled or refunded in the event of any absence, withdrawal, or dismissal from the program. This applies to all camp programs, including Extended Day and transportation. However, you may sign up for our Tuition Refund Plan (TRP), at a cost of $10 per camper per week. The plan pays part of the unused tuition for the number of consecutive days missed, if that number is greater than four. Tuition will be reimbursed as follows:

  • Medical absence or withdrawal (requires a physician’s note): 75%
  • Non-medical (voluntary) withdrawal: 60%
  • Dismissal: 60%

To request a refund from the plan, you must apply in writing to the Camp Office, indicating the days missed, and the reason for your child’s absence. Families can choose to participate in the TRP or not. During registration you will be asked to fill out a form indicating your choice, and if you choose to participate you will be sent an updated invoice.

To pay your tuition balance: click here to sign in to your account. Click on the button to view your registration details, and in the bottom right hand corner of that page, click on the  "Make a Payment" button. If you do not see this button, it means that your account is fully paid.

Camp Thayer Form #1: Camper Report of Physical Exam & Immunizations

A copy of a physical exam report completed and signed by the physician, including the date of the last physical exam and the list of immunizations received. The Camp Thayer Report of Physical Exam & Immunizations Form (above) can be used, or an official form issued by the physician is also acceptable. The physical exam date must be within 24 months prior to when your child is expected to attend Camp Thayer. If the last physical exam is not within that time frame, please make an appointment far enough in advance to ensure that the required forms will be received in the Camp Thayer Office by the deadline. The immunizations required by Camp Thayer are the same as those required for attendance at school.

Camp Thayer Form #2: Camper Medication Authorization (authorization to administer medication to a camper)

For students who will require medications at Camp, the Medication Authorization Form must be completed and signed by the parent/guardian for each medication. The parent/guardian should deliver the medication(s) directly to the camp nurse on or before the first day of the child's scheduled camp session(s). Medications must be in the original prescription container with the prescription label affixed, noting the exact dose of the medication to be dispensed.
