About the Program:
The Thayer Girls' & Boys' Varsity Crew program participates in the New England Interscholastic Rowing Association (NEIRA) and competes against NEPSAC schools as well as other premier rowing programs in New England. Former student-athletes have gone on to participate at the college level at schools like Bates College, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Boston College, College of the Holy Cross, and Connecticut College to name a few. Jeffrey Booth
Assistant CoachJeff returns to the crew program after working with the program in 2015. Jeff has worked with several area programs including the Boston Latin School, Lasell College, Duxbury Maritime, and Harvard house crew. Jeff is a member of the Riverside Boat Club in Cambridge and has competed in the Head of Charles Masters Nationals, and the CRASH Bs. Jeff no longer competes as a rower but rows a single on the Cleveland Pond (Ames Nowell) and the Charles River when possible. In addition to rowing Jeff works as a group manager in learning and development. He also repairs racing shells for Boston area rowers. -
