Daniel Cassamajor, a.k.a. Coach Cass, is a dedicated basketball coach with nearly two decades of experience, currently leading several boys' teams within the MT Elite Ducks AAU program and serving as an assistant coach for the Weymouth Girls Basketball program. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, and raised in the greater Boston area, Daniel moved to the South Shore in 2011, settling in Quincy, MA. His passion for the game drives his commitment to developing young athletes, including his three children.
After graduating from Medford High School in 2002, he began his coaching career in 2005 while also studying full-time for a degree in criminal justice. Starting with several middle school boys' teams, Daniel has spent most of his career coaching boys and has recently expanded his coaching resume to include girls’ basketball. Under his leadership, teams have enjoyed many winning seasons and have secured several championships.
Coach Cass has a profound love for the game and believes in instilling mental toughness in his student-athletes. He emphasizes teamwork, discipline, and skill development, using basketball as a tool to help young athletes navigate real-life scenarios. By fostering an environment of trust and respect, he encourages personal growth alongside athletic improvement. In addition to coaching, he is a full-time real estate agent and runs his own basketball training business, mentoring youth through personalized instruction.
Daniel resides in Brockton with his fiancée and enjoys spending quality time with his family, relaxing, and having fun.
