a rolling basis throughout the duration of the program.

Program Details

Discover a summer of skill-building and fun at Thayer Summer Sports Camps!

We offer top-notch coaching in:

  • Baseball
  • Field Hockey
  • Lacrosse
  • Soccer

Sports Camps will run Monday through Thursday throughout the summer. Students will be provided both lunch and snack daily.

Each camp requires specific equipment, and our dedicated coaches will provide a detailed list to ensure every student is ready to hit the field. Check out the Sports Camps below for more details.

Health Requirements

Medical information must be provided for your student to attend Thayer Summer Sports Camps. It is essential for the program to have your student's current health information in order to be able to ensure the safety and well-being of students during their time at the Summer Sports Camps. Please upload your student's complete physical and immunization record from your doctor's office by going to your home page after completing your registration and using the upload button under the "Doctor's Physical" section. If you cannot upload the document, please email it to campnurse@thayer.org. Students cannot participate in the Summer Sports Camps until we receive this form. The physical exam date must be within 18 months prior to when your child is expected to attend the Thayer Summer Sports Camps.

Medical forms must be completed and submitted by June 1, 2025.

  • Medical Report of Physical Exam & Immunizations (required)
    Note: Parents/guardians may provide a form from their family physician as an alternative to completing the form linked here. 
  • Participant Medication Authorization (as needed)
    For students who will require medications at the Summer Sports Camps, the Medication Authorization Form must be completed and signed by the parent/guardian for each medication. The parent/guardian should deliver the medication(s) directly to the Thayer Sports Camps nurse on or before the first day of the program. Medications must be in the original prescription container with the prescription label affixed, noting the exact dose of the medication to be dispensed.

Led by Jimmy Pierce '03, Thayer Academy Boys Head Baseball Coach

Thayer Baseball Clinic is open to players of all levels (beginner to advanced). Players will be grouped by grade and/or skill level to ensure player safety. The clinic will be run by Thayer Baseball Head Coach Jimmy Pierce ‘03, who is entering his second year as the Head Coach and 12th year as a Varsity coach. Players will receive instruction from former college and professional players on defensive fundamentals, hitting, and team defense.

Dates:
Monday - Thursday; July 28 to July 31

Time: 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Cost: $500/week
Open to: Students entering grades 4 to 8
Skill Level: All experience levels

Field Hockey
Led by Suzanne Noone, Thayer Academy Head Field Hockey Coach

Led by coaches and players with Division I and III college-level experience, the Thayer Field Hockey Camp is dedicated to teaching and refining the fundamental and tactical skills that form the foundation of field hockey. Each day will strike the balance between skill-building instruction and exciting, team-based competition, designed to grow and evolve throughout the week.

Our goal is to inspire and nurture a lifelong love for field hockey in every player!

As a special highlight, the accomplished Babson College field hockey coach, Julie Ryan, will join us as a guest coach on the final day. Come experience why Thayer Academy is the perfect place to learn, grow, and have fun this summer!

Thayer Boys Lacrosse camp is offered to players of all levels (beginners to advanced) grades 3-8 , led by Thayer Varsity Boys Lacrosse Coaches Bill Daye and Chris Massey. Our all-star staff comprises top-tier high school coaches and stand- out current college players. Athletes will be evaluated and grouped based on skill level/grade level and work in small training groups daily that teach a wide range of skills and drills to develop our athletes while growing their knowledge and experience of the game.

Monday - Thursday; July 21 to July 24

Time: 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Cost: $500/week
Open to: Students entering grades 3 to 8
Skill Level: All experience levels

Lax & Crafts - Coed Youth Lacrosse
Led by Anni Zukauskas, Thayer Academy Girls Lacrosse Head Coach

Where Lacrosse Meets Creativity!
For over 20 years, Thayer Academy has proudly offered this one-of-a-kind camp that blends the excitement of lacrosse with the creativity of arts and crafts. Under the guidance of Thayer's All-American athletes and expert teachers and coaches, campers will develop essential lacrosse skills in a supportive, fun environment. Through personalized instruction, age-appropriate drills, and friendly games, campers will learn the fundamentals of lacrosse while building teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence. Afternoons at Lax & Crafts are all about creativity and relaxation! After an action-packed morning on the field, campers will cool off and create in Thayer Academy’s state-of-the-art visual arts studio, exploring a variety of hands-on crafts.

Open to: Ages 4-8 (co-ed)

Thayer Girls Lacrosse camp is offered to players of all levels (beginners to advanced) grades 3-9, led by Thayer Girls Varsity Lacrosse Coach Anni Zukauskas, entering her 23rd season as a head coach. Our all-star staff comprises top-tier high school coaches and stand-out current college players. Athletes are evaluated and grouped based on skill level and work in small training groups daily that teach a wide range of skills and drills to develop our athletes while growing individual confidence. This program is known for building teamwork at its Final Four Tournament.

Dates: Monday - Thursday; July 14 to July 17
Times: 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Cost: $500/week
Open to: Students entering grades 3 to 9 
            Division III Grades 3 - 4 
            Division II Grades 5 - 6 
            Division I Grades 7 - 9

Boys & Girls Soccer
Led by Paul Turner, Thayer Academy Girls Head Soccer Coach

Additionally, collegiate coaches will be present at the camp (Bentley, Villanova).
