The Patriot Ledger newspaper recently named Thayer's Tyler Knightly '20 its All-Scholastic Male Swimmer of the Year, an award presented by the South Shore YMCA. 

In a related article, the Ledger noted Knightly's bona fides: seven championships at the New Englands, eight All-NEPSAC titles, and seven school records. It also noted that Knightly is "the first student at Thayer to go undefeated throughout all four years of his high school career." 

A Dedham native, the recent graduate will attend Amherst College where he will continue his swimming career.
