General's Open Golf Tournament and Tennis Event

To Benefit Thayer Academy's Financial Aid Program
Monday, May 13, 2019
Black Rock Country Club - Hingham, MA

On Monday, May 13, 2019, Thayer Academy will host its 25th Annual General's Open Golf Tournament & Tennis Event at Black Rock Country Club in Hingham, which includes an 18-hole golf tournament, round-robin tennis event, golf clinic, and reception.

The funds raised for the 2019 General's Open will be directed to Thayer's financial aid program. Last year $40,000 was directed to Thayer’s financial aid program as a direct result of the General’s Open.

On-course competitions will take place: Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and Hole in One. The prize for the Hole in One is Thayer tuition for a year or the cash equivalent!

An exclusive Thayer-branded player gift, on-court snacks, access to Black Rock's locker rooms, a post-tennis lunch, and a post-golf cocktail reception are included in your registration fee.

We hope you will participate in what promises to be a day filled with cordial competition both on the tennis court and golf course, as well as great silent auction items and a convivial cocktail reception.
