College Matriculation

At Thayer, students develop a strong foundation in a broad array of academic disciplines that prepares them well for the rigors of a demanding college education. Thayer also offers an abundance of academic and extracurricular opportunities in specialized subjects that expose students to a wide array of fields in the visual and performing arts, research science, engineering, computer science and robotics, the law, international studies, and business, to name just a few. As a result, our students are typically quite purposeful when they choose their college. A good number will identify interdisciplinary liberal arts programs that give them the flexibility to prepare them for different professional paths or graduate school, while many others identify a strong personal interest in a particular course of study and take a more focused approach at a specialized college.
