Douglas (Digger) Donahue was named Managing Partner of Brown Brothers Harriman in January of 2008.

Mr. Donahue joined the Boston office of BBH in 1976 as a commercial banker. He manages the firm's Investor Services business which operates through nine offices located in the world's primary financial centers. He is the partner in charge of the Boston office chair of the firm's steering committee.

Mr. Donahue is a member of the Executive Committee of the Commercial Club of Boston. He is a 1969 graduate of Phillips Academy, a 1973 graduate of Dartmouth College, and a 1976 graduate of the Harvard Business School.

Thomas (Rick) Berk is a partner within the Investor Services’ product management group at Brown Brothers Harriman.

Rick joined BBH in 1995, served as the Chief Information Officer and Head of the firm’s systems division. During his tenure, Rick has successfully managed a large service organization that helped position BBH as an innovative technology leader. Under his direction, the organization delivered countless applications, including the Infomediary® suite of financial messaging and productivity products, he co-developed the Eagle STAR fund accounting platform, and the ActionWorld® corporate actions client interface and processing system. In addition, Rick oversaw BBH’s complex behind-the-scenes infrastructure, which supports mission-critical functions such as data security, data privacy, and anti-money-laundering/know your customer compliance. Most recently, he was the head of client service, responsible for the delivery of custody, fund accounting, and fund administration services globally.

Rick has a BS degree in Computer Science from Drexel University.

Kristen Fitzwilliam Giarrusso joined BBH in 1989 and is the CFO and partner in charge of finance, business strategy, marketing & communications and HR strategy for the Investor Services business. She is currently serving as the interim head of U.S. Relationship Excellence. Ms. Giarrusso is a board member of BBH FAS, BBH ISL, BBH HK, and the BBH HK audit committee. She is a member of the firm’s governance, risk & compliance steering committee and the Investor Services oversight committee.

Ms. Giarrusso is a graduate of Denison University (1984) with a BA in economics and Spanish. She earned her MBA at the Harvard Business School in 1989.
