Senior Legacy 2016

The Senior Legacy Program is a Thayer tradition begun in 2002. It provides an opportunity for members of the senior class and their families to make a special gift to the Academy in support of a project of their choosing. Over the years, this program has raised more than $2 million and has enriched the Academy’s campus with new classrooms, building improvements, outdoor spaces, and programs that will continue to benefit our community for many years to come.

As parents of the Class of 2016, we accept the Senior Legacy tradition and commit to continue it by raising money in support of a project that provides both immediate and long term benefits to Thayer Academy.

For their Senior Legacy gift to Thayer the Class of 2016 voted to raise money to support the second phase of the renovation of the main campus athletic fields. During the summer of 2016, new turf surfaces will be constructed for the Varsity and JV field hockey, soccer, lacrosse, and Middle School baseball teams. This project will significantly enhance our athletic scheduling options and increase access for all of Thayer's student-athletes.
