After a tough Friday night tie with GDA, the Tigers came out very flat against Milton and paid for it as Milton scored on the first shift to take a 1-0 lead.  Milton continued to dominate the rest of the first period.  Thayer came right back in the second period and got a goal of their own on a breakaway from Mallory Collins on a pass from Emily Rooney.  Thayer carried much of the second period but was unable to take the lead.  Against the run of play and a bad change by the Tigers, Milton scored to take a 2-1 lead going into the third period.  Milton added a 3rd goal in the third period and played some solid team defense to keep Thayer off the board for the rest of the game.  It was a hard-fought game by both teams.  Thayer hopes to get back to its winning ways against Winsor on Wednesday in the North End.
